Saan is motivated by Chef Lek Wichian’s childhood memories, of family and traditional Northern Thai cooking. Challenged to deliver a handcrafted space reflecting this humble culture, we broke the restuarant into small pieces, designing every element ourselves, from light-shades to menu: embracing domestic scale, nothing here remains untouched
