The brief for Entrecôte was to make a tongue-in-cheek play on a typical Parisian bistro. A key concern in refreshing the site was to acknowledge the venue’s role as caretaker of an iconic building that has been a treasured venue for generations of South Yarra residents, and fit it out in a way that appeased the rightly protective neighbourhood.
